Ruger

Certified Therapy Dog

Ruger is a 90-pound Golden Retriever with an even bigger heart. He is a certified therapy dog through the Alliance of Therapy Dogs and has earned his Canine Good Citizen award. Ruger’s calm temperament and steady presence in the therapy room often bring an added sense of comfort, helping sessions feel safer and more grounded.

Ruger’s presence in the therapy room often brings an added sense of comfort and ease. Whether he’s quietly resting nearby, offering a gentle nudge for a pet, or simply sharing his steady presence, many clients find that he helps sessions feel safer and more grounded. Outside of work, Ruger enjoys playing ball, going for walks, and embracing his favorite role as a couch potato. He takes his job seriously — but he also believes in the healing power of a wagging tail. Ruger can’t wait to meet you and be part of your journey.
